Fall 2008 Law School Initiative Speakers Tour
This fall, President Lois B. DeFleur and Provost Mary Ann Swain will present Binghamton University's proposal to create a new law school to community organizations. Educating our community about the law school initiative and the benefits it will bring to students, the region and state is vital to our success.
Presentations to several area Rotary clubs are currently scheduled, and we hope to schedule more throughout the fall. Invite a Binghamton University representative to share the law school opportunity with your organization by contacting Diane Greiwe at dgreiwe@binghamton.edu or 607-777-3658.
Welcome
Binghamton University stands at the threshold of a great opportunity. With our stellar reputation, unmatched student population, thriving network of supportive alumni and trailblazing faculty, we will serve as an engine of growth and opportunity in the region and the state for many years to come.
But to reach our full potential, we need help from committed and passionate advocates like you.
Our new advocacy organization — the Binghamton University Think Tank — provides a framework through which you can actively participate in shaping the policy debates and the public opinions that determine the future of our great University.
Binghamton University's future lies in large part in your hands. Your Binghamton can become an even stronger institution. Through your efforts, you can play a critical role in helping Binghamton advance as an institution while it strengthens and revitalizes the region, New York state, the nation and the world.
